Operational Highlight
The Albertine Graben, a segment of the East African Rift System, is a region rich in hydrocarbon potential, straddling the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Characterized by its distinct geological formation, it encompasses lakes like Albert, Edward, and George, which overlay areas with substantial sedimentary deposits. These deposits, formed through the rifting process, have created favorable conditions for oil and gas accumulation. The area has seen significant oil discoveries, attracting major industry players and prompting substantial investment in exploration and development.
